Through our partnership with Eastern Health, patients and health professionals have local access to state of the art medical imaging.

By staying at the leading edge of technology we are able to optimise patient diagnosis, treatment and safety.

Recent additions, which exemplify our commitment to advancing imaging technology in Eastern Melbourne, include;

• Five new LOW DOSE, high resolution CT scanners across the newtwork. These CTs are from Toshiba Aquilion range and include the state of the art Aquilion One, 640-slice scanner. 
• Specialised ultrasound machines at all campuses - including 3D fetal imaging at the Angliss with laser printer photographs.
• Digital mammography including tomosynthesis, which is fullfilling its potential to revolutionise breast imaging.
• SPECT CT (nuclear imaging) and DEXA units, available to the community at Maroondah Hospital.
